Dramatic introduction to Great Wall conference

Focusing on cultural and tourism resources relating to the Great Wall, the sixth Shanxi Tourism Development Conference was held in Xinzhou city on Sept 10. Delegates to the conference praised Shanxi as a grand museum of the Great Wall as many well preserved sections are in the province. The event also included a Great Wall photos exhibition, an expo of Shanxi’s intangible cultural heritage and a trade and investment fair for the tourism industry. A highlight of the event is a live show called Night of Great Wall held on Sept 9 before the opening of the conference.
