The herald of spring, forsythia flowers bloom in Liangzhen township in Yicheng county, Shanxi province. Forsythia is a major medical herb in Shanxi as its seeds, roots, stems, petals and leaves can be used to produce traditional Chinese medicines and herbal tea products. Covered by the yellow flowers of forsythia in early spring, the plantations have become an attractive destination for many tourists.
